FaxPack v6 enhances 4D with fully integrated faxing capabilities
Atlanta, GA -- August 24, 2005 -- Soft Solutions announces FaxPack 6, a significant update to their integrated, cross-platform 4th Dimension faxing plug-in. This 4D plug-in file provides compatibility with Macintosh OS 9.2, X and Windows, 4D versions 6 through 2004, including the recently released 4-Sight FAX version 6.
FaxPack 6 for 4th Dimension adds the following valuable faxing capabilities:
* Support for retrieving entire fax queue listings (incoming and outgoing)
* Enables any 4D application to act as its own fax client
* Download and convert fax files into PNG, Tiff, PDF and BMP formats for direct fax viewing
* Provide 4D applications direct viewing of faxes
* Sending and receiving of faxes as email (with PDF attachments)
* Direct access to the 4-Sight FAX Smart dialing feature (accepting raw fax numbers)
* Ability to specify a fax's priority and preset the sending date and time
Building on a 10+ year legacy of reliability, 4-Sight FAX is the leading Macintosh and Windows client/server fax software. The accompanying FaxPack plug-in provides an ideal solution for companies needing one-step faxing of 4D forms to their customers.
